WELCOME TO TEXANS FOOTBALL CAMPS
We remained hopeful that Tarleton Football camps would not be impacted by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, but with cancellations across our campus now extending into the summer months, we will no longer be able to hold our May and June summer camps this year. We appreciate your patience and sincerely apologize for these circumstances that have forced us to cancel those camps. We still will be able to host our ONE DAY CAMP on July 18th. With that said, we wanted to let our pre-registered campers know that you have two options for any registration fees you have already paid – you can either request a full refund or choose to move your current registration for a future camp date. Below are instructions on how to select your preferred option for your camp registration.
To move your registration to a future camp date/ to request a refund
If you would like to request a refund or move your camp date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our thoughts as a Tarleton Football Family remain on the health, safety and well-being of everyone at this time. Please take care of yourself and those around you.
2020 Camp Staff
The Tarleton State Football Camps will be hosted by the winningest head coach in Tarleton Football History Todd Whitten and his staff. Over the past two seasons, Tarleton's most successful run in university history features a 23-2 record with a pair of Lone Star Conference championships. The Texans completed their second consecutive season that Tarleton has finished the season ranked in the top-10 of the final poll. The Texans are bound for NCAA Division I FCS next season where they will compete as an independent program while the rest of Tarleton's intercollegiate athletics join the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). In 2018 the Texans’ coaching staff led the program to a historic season where the Texans were named the No. 5 football team in the nation in the final poll by the American Football Coaches Association. This is the highest ranking in program history. Tarleton just finished arguably the greatest season in school history after winning the Lone Star Conference Championship outright and completing the first undefeated regular season in the program's NCAA era.
Why Attend Tarleton Football Camps?
These camps are not set up in a way to resemble a national combine, but rather intended to increase skill development in the game of football. There will be basic measurements and testing done, but the majority of camp time will be spent on skill development per position group of the current Texan coaching staff. Camp participants will get plenty of opportunities to improve and showcase their talents during the camp with competition drills.
The Texans have signed MULTIPLE athletes each year that attended their football camps.
